Bullfeathers...Strike 3

I had hoped that my third visit would be the charm as my first two were not worthy of a favorable review. Needless to say, I was more disappointed in Bullfeathers this time around than I was before. My first visit consisted of crunchy chicken skin wrapped around bone with nary any meat whatsoever. Lesson learned...go for boneless next time. Although the next time I didn't even get a chance to try anything as we happened to show up on a Thursday evening when they sponsor "Open Mic" night. After waiting half an hour, all the while being constantly reminded by the hostess that "A table should open up soon", we realized that people were basically just taking up seating space waiting for their time in the limelight on stage. But my third effort really gave me reason to hope that Bullfeathers gets better before it gets any worse. After placing our orders today and waiting patiently for our food to arrive, I was disappointed to find that our server had mistaken our request for "boneless" and had brought the bone-in variety instead. So now we wait until she corrects the order while part of our group eats theirs and we snack on the french fries. And when our plate arrives, we basically pick at the meaty nuggets since our appetite is not so much anymore after devouring the fried potato fillers. This mistake wouldn't have been much of a deal breaker in itself had we not missed our time frame to take in a movie and now had to wait two hours for the next showing. But our waitress must have sensed our displeasure in service as she graciously offered us a dessert on the house for our trouble. Had we not been saited by the fries, I may have taken her up on the offer seeing that we had 2 hours to kill until movie time. What would have eased my obvious angst would have been to discount the bill a small amount or offered a coupon for the dessert at another sitting as a gesture of public relations. Maybe the proprietors will realize this eventually when one of their wait staff or cooks misinterprets an order again. I suppose that in time I will reconsider my stance at avoiding a chicken wing establishment that continues to hit fowls(pardon the pun). But I have to laugh rather than sulk at throwing away good money on food and service that is questionable at best. Are you listening Bullfeathers?
